π§ Smart-Account Score
The smart-account score is a signal Compass surfaces to show where smart money is paying attention. It helps you spot the people and teams worth reaching before the crowd does.
What it measures
Smart accounts are wallets and accounts with a track record worth watching: early backers, sharp traders, and connected operators. The smart-account score reflects how much that group is engaging with a given person or project. A higher score means more attention from accounts that tend to be early.
Where you see it
- In People. Sort by Smart score to bring the most-engaged accounts to the top, or use the Smart-acct score filter to set a range.
- In Projects. Filter by smart-account buying to find teams that smart money is moving into.
- In signals across Compass, where momentum and movers draw on the same idea: follow where the sharp attention goes.
Compass is continuing to expand how deeply this signal is wired across the app, so expect it to show up in more places over time.
How to use it
- Treat a rising smart-account score as a prompt to look closer, not as a verdict. It tells you where to point your attention.
- Pair it with the Network and a person's timeline to turn a signal into a real reason to reach out.
- Combine it with Trending to separate teams with smart-money interest from teams with only noise.
Why it matters for reaching people
The best time to reach someone is just before everyone else does. The smart-account score points you toward the people and teams that connected, early accounts are backing, so you can start the conversation while it still stands out.
