What is Compass?

Compass is the contact rolodex for crypto. It gives you verified telegram, email, and LinkedIn details for the people building Web3, including pseudonymous teams, and it maps how those people connect. See Why Compass Exists.

How is Compass different from a general sales database?

General sales databases are built for traditional companies and rely heavily on LinkedIn. They thin out quickly for crypto-native and anonymous teams. Compass is built crypto-first, with telegram treated as a primary channel and a map of how people connect.

How is it different from a crypto data or research terminal?

Those are protocol and market data tools. They tell you about projects, tokens, and on-chain activity. Compass tells you who to contact, how to reach them, and how you are connected to them. They answer different questions, and many users pair Compass with one of them.

What makes a connection "verifiable"?

Every person carries a career timeline of where they have worked, and the Network graph links people, projects, investors, and influencers by real edges. So a connection is not a guess. You can see the shared history or mutual relationship before you reach out. See Finding Warm Intros.

Do I need a paid plan?

You can browse, filter, and read profiles, timelines, and the Network for free. You need a paid plan to unlock contact details, because the free tier includes no credits. See Plans & Pricing.

How much does an unlock cost?

Every unlock costs 10 credits, on every plan. Your plan determines how many credits you get each month. See How Credits Work.

Do credits expire?

Unused credits roll over up to two times your monthly allowance. Annual plans grant three months of credits up front.

What happens if I unlock the same contact twice?

You are only charged once. After you unlock a contact, it stays yours, so you can come back to it without spending more credits.

Do I keep my contacts if I cancel?

Yes. Contacts you have unlocked stay in your vault forever, including after you cancel or downgrade. You keep what you have already revealed.

Can I export my contacts?

Yes, on the Starter plan and above. You can export your unlocked contacts to CSV and work them from your own CRM or outreach tool. See Exporting & Bulk Search.

Is the contact data verified?

Yes. Verification is the point of Compass. Telegram is the channel we focus on most, since it is where most crypto teams actually communicate. See Data & Verification.

What is the smart-account score?

It is a signal that shows where smart money is paying attention, surfaced as a sort and filter on people and projects. See Smart-Account Score.

Is there an API?

Yes. The developer API lets you pull Compass data (people, projects, investors, search) into your own systems over REST. It is billed in the same credits as the app: data calls cost credits, so they need a paid plan, while the identity check is free. It is in private beta, so request access. Building an agent?
