People is the heart of Compass. It is where you find anyone in crypto: founders, builders, and allocators, with verified ways to reach them and a clear view of how you are connected.

Finding the right person

  • Search by name or @handle to jump straight to someone.
  • Sort by Recent, by Smart score to surface the most-engaged accounts, or A to Z.
  • Filter by:
    • Contact channel, to find people you can reach a specific way, such as telegram.
    • Role, to focus on founders, operators, allocators, and more.
    • Smart-account score, to rank by smart-money engagement. See Smart-Account Score.
  • Switch source between everyone, analysts, and team contacts.

On a profile

Click anyone to open their full profile, which brings the connection into view:

  • Role and handles, including X and, once unlocked, telegram, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Follower reach where known, so you can gauge their voice.
  • A career timeline: where they have worked and in what role, over time.
  • A warm-path card: who in the network can introduce you to this person.
  • Open in Network, to see everyone they connect to.

Unlocking the contact

When you are ready to reach someone, choose Unlock on their profile. Each unlock is 10 credits and reveals the verified channels Compass holds for them. Once unlocked, the contact stays yours forever. See Unlocking Contacts.

Why it matters for reaching people

This is the people-first core of Compass. Other tools stop at a name and a handle. People gives you the person, their history, their reach, and a warm route in, so when you do reach out, you lead with a real connection instead of a cold hello.
