๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Events

The attendee list you wish the organiser had published. Every company on the programme, the decision makers who work there, and how to reach them.

Conferences are where crypto business gets done. The official site gives you a speaker grid with headshots and job titles. Compass turns that grid into people you can contact.

The Compass events list, each event showing its dates, venue and roster size

The events list. Each one shows how many companies and decision makers its roster holds before you open it.

What is on an event page

Use it before you go

The value is in the week before, not the week after.

shortlist find the message them you already
20 companies right person "I'll be there, have meetings
(not 200) (not always 15 mins Tuesday?" booked
                  the speaker)
  1. Shortlist first. Filter to the companies you actually want to meet. Twenty is a real target for three days. Two hundred is a fantasy.
  2. Find the right person. The speaker is often not the person who signs. The company's team on Compass shows who else is there.
  3. Reach out before. "I will be at the conference, can we get fifteen minutes on the Tuesday" converts far better than a message sent after, when everyone is catching up on a week of email.
  4. Save the shortlist to a watchlist so you are not rebuilding the filter every time.

After the event

The people you met are still in Compass, with their contact routes and their company's activity.

Add anyone you actually spoke to into a watchlist. That gives you a follow-up list that is already enriched, rather than a stack of business cards.

Coverage

Events are built one at a time from the official programme, so coverage is deliberate rather than automatic.

The Events page lists everything currently covered. If a conference you care about is missing, tell us and we will look at building it.
